Time to Color
This is a bit earlier than usual since I’m off to Bellevue this week – SO, so excited! And THANK YOU MT Art Council for helping with my expenses to get there. I haven’t had a show since February and I really miss getting out to visit with all the nice people who enjoy art.
Earlier this month I traveled to Lolo, MT to choose my horse canvas. Meet Chinook, my partner for the Horse of a Different Color Equine Extravaganza. Isn’t he a beauty? You can attend the event, complete with gourmet food and wine, by purchasing tickets here. There are more details I will save for mid-August in a separate email. (update – here are some pics of the event!)
Did you know that Aug. 2nd is “National Coloring Book Day”? I didn’t either, until this year! A line drawing version of my “Bloommates” painting will be included in the Yellowstone Art Museum’s artist’s coloring book Big Sky Artists: A Coloring Book! They are hosting a coloring marathon for the public on that day from 10 – 8. Get out your crayons and join in the fun! 🙂
I hope you’re all having a fabulous, colorful summer!
