Open Up Orange Poppy Painting by Lisa Gibson

June has been a cleansing month, inside and out. I did a major purge of items in my studio and throughout parts of our home. Eight (heavy!) boxes of items were taken to the thrift store, and I helped a beginning quilter with her inventory by cleaning out the items from my quilting days. I now have s p a c e in my studio and it feels wonderful! I feel like my heart and soul have room to expand and express…

Also in Helena, I now have some of my smaller paintings at Birds and Beasleys. Their selection of gifts and artwork for nature enthusiasts is really remarkable!

The colors, life and events of this season are so invigorating – I do hope you all are able to get out and enjoy it!
