The life cycles of flowers give me endless ideas of life metaphors.  This one illustrates the beginning of life, when you are all closed up – incubating. Then the blooming starts as you grow. Later in life (some of us MUCH later!) we learn to let go and Open Up to all of the good things life has to offer as well as to sharing ourselves with others.
