Something Went Missing…
I’m pretty sure it was summer AND fall, but that’s weather for ‘ya. Welcome to winter #1 in MT! 🙂
If you’re driving through the Blackfoot Valley this weekend, be sure to stop at Annie Allen’s studio at 3317 Blackfoot Valley Ranch Rd in Lincoln. A group of us artists is again participating in Alpine Artisan’s Tour of the Arts. It’s going to be a beautiful weekend, so it’s a great chance to get out and see lots of art. We always have a great time visiting with you all, and we’ll have a fire, food, and beverages available for your enjoyment.
Also, be sure to save the date for our annual Art Haus Mini Christmas show (also at Annie’s studio). It’s on Saturday, December 7th from 12-5 PM and coincides with the annual Christmas Bazaar in the Lincoln Community Hall. A new show will also take place that weekend called “Heritage House Christmas” which will focus on handcrafted artisanal gifts. You just *might* be able to get all of your holiday shopping done in one day in Lincoln!
As many of you know, I’ve had my 5×7 giclees at Fireside Coffee in Helena for several years. To many’s disbelief and sadness, the owner Dan Fountaine suddenly passed away last month. He was only our (hubby’s & my) age, so definitely still “young” by many standards. Sure reminds me of how fragile life is. It’s never too late to notice the good things in life, so if a loved one is near you be sure to give them a hug and tell them how much you love and appreciate them.
My painting time has been stretched thin with our family’s two new businesses, so I’ve been having fun in the sketchbook with some doodles. I call this series “Goofy Gurl”, cuz that’s what I am at heart. As long as I have some time to dance & play, I’m okay!
I hope you all have the BEST holiday season!
