Nice to Have Met You, January!
Have you noticed how the light seems to look different in the afternoon starting around mid-January? And the sun is hanging around a little longer each day? Progress!
The Holter Museum reception is this Friday the 3rd from 5-8 pm. Please do come for a visit if you’re in the area! Meeting all of you is what makes this art journey so satisfying. We will have light snacks and you will also get to meet artist Allison McGree from Bozeman. Her work is mesmerizing!
Today I delivered some work for the exhibit in Missoula at the e3 Convergence Gallery through February 25th. It is a duo show with nature photographer Merle Ann Loman. I will not be able to attend their reception this Friday, but if you’re in Missoula I know Merle would appreciate you stopping by! I will be there on Saturday, February 11th from 1-6pm for a live painting demo day.
Ok – confession time! I’m ready for summer. Notice I didn’t say spring? Yep, summer. As in really warm! On that note, this painting expresses that perfectly for me. I call it “Dreaming in Daisy” and it’s now in its temporary home at the e3.
Next stop – February! I hope it’s a good one for you.
