OK, now it’s official – Happy Spring! March was a whirlwind month in the studio. We lost our dear fur-kid and studio buddy, house rabbit Pookie. You may have seen his mischievous gleam in some of my Facebook posts. BUT, we have another one adopted and named, we are just waiting for him to get bigger on mamma’s milk before he can come home.
I’ve been chosen as one of the artists for the
Dancing Lotus Center during the Spring Art Walk in Helena. The emphasis will be Healing and Hope for cancer and domestic violence victims. The Center has a foundation to help veterans and cancer and domestic violence survivors recover from their wounds. This is beyond exciting since most of my artwork comes from a place of hope and healing in my own journey. It’s fulfilling to be involved in sharing the way to wellness. Dancing Lotus Center is on 40 North Last Chance Gulch in the walking mall next to the Parrot Confectionery. We’ll be set up from 5 – 9 pm on Friday, May 13th so please do come down and say hello!
Another exciting tidbit is that I was asked to display my work at the Holter Museum Store in their Held Hallway and Nicholson Gallery in January and February 2017. As that time draws near I’ll update you on exact dates and info.
