Paint or Plant?
The garden bug has slept in this year. We’ve had the mildest, earliest spring I can recall in at least ten seasons. Art has pushed aside the desire to dig in the dirt in spite of the warm sunshine. I’m so excited to share my work with the world that it’s literally consuming me!

It won’t look like this for a couple more months!
In an attempt to awaken a planting urge, I’m sitting in the sun, sipping my tea, listening to the birds and watching the garlic grow. The weeds are already taunting me, so I did pull a few. But the sketchbook is much more alluring these days, even over the thought of fresh home-grown veggies.
I’m using this time to sort through all the ideas humming around in my head. A proper logo for Lisa Gibson Art and entry ideas for a juried show this fall are on the current list. I guess I could look at it as “planting” my artwork into the world, couldn’t I? What are your exciting spring projects this year?
